Tax filing shouldn't
require blind trust.
Arth reads your Form 16, AIS, and broker statements — cross-checks every number — and shows you exactly what's going into your ITR before you file.
The problem
If you have a salary, some mutual funds, maybe a few US stocks through your employer's RSU program — filing your taxes should not be this hard.
But it is. Your AIS shows capital gains your broker doesn't recognise. Your Form 16 doesn't match your 26AS. Schedule FA wants you to report foreign custodial accounts in calendar-year terms using SBI telegraphic transfer rates from the last day of the preceding month. Your CA charges you somewhere between three and six thousand rupees and still asks you to fill in a blank spreadsheet for the foreign assets part because, honestly, they're not sure either.
You end up filing with a knot in your stomach — not confident that it's right, not sure what you missed, hoping you don't get a notice.
We've seen people on forums who missed reporting their stock market investments for six years straight. People whose CAs admitted they don't know how to handle dividends from US companies. People who filed ITR-1 when they should have filed ITR-2, and only found out when the return came back defective.
The information exists. It's in your documents. The problem is that nobody reads all of it carefully, cross-checks it against every other source, and tells you where the gaps are — before you file.
What Arth does
Reads your documents
Upload Form 16, AIS, broker P&L statements, RSU confirmations. Arth extracts every field — salary breakup, TDS entries, capital gains, foreign asset details.
Cross-checks everything
Form 16 says one TDS number. AIS says another. Your broker shows a cost basis that doesn't match AIS. Arth flags every mismatch and tells you which source to trust.
Fills your ITR
Salary, deductions, capital gains, Schedule FA, taxes paid — populated from your actual documents. Old regime vs new regime compared side by side.
You review, you file
Arth shows you the complete picture. You confirm each section. Then you download the ITR JSON and upload it to the income tax portal yourself.
Who it's for
Arth is built for people who have a job, maybe some investments, and shouldn't need to pay a CA to figure out what goes where in their tax return.
If you have RSUs or ESOPs from a company listed abroad, Arth handles Schedule FA — the part most CAs struggle with. If you switched jobs mid-year and have two Form 16s, Arth merges them. If your AIS shows interest income from five different banks, Arth adds it up and puts it in the right section.
It's also for people who use a CA but want to verify the work before it's filed. Think of it as a second pair of eyes that actually reads every document.
Who built this
Arth is built by a small team. No VC funding, no enterprise sales team. The product exists because we needed it ourselves and couldn't find anything that actually worked.
We've been writing code since March 2025. The tax engine, the document parsers, the AI assistant — all built from scratch, tested against real returns, and improved every week based on what actual users run into.
